I’ve always felt connected to places with character, barns shaped by weather, old buildings with history in their walls, long stretches of land, and the steady rhythm of water.

When I began traveling again after stepping away from photography for many years, I noticed something familiar. Iceland’s raw coastlines and New York’s energy carried the same atmosphere I’d always felt at home: a mix of mood, memory, and stillness.

That’s when I realized my work isn’t about one type of place. It’s about a feeling, honest, grounded, and a little bit timeless.

Whether I’m photographing a rural barn or a distant shoreline, I’m always looking for that same steady moment where the world feels simple and real.

This is the work I return to, again and again.
